The Dräger Accuro Pump enables fast and reliable gas measurements using established Dräger Tubes, even under extreme working conditions. Designed for one-handed operation, the Accuro Pump and Dräger Tubes form a perfectly calibrated system for accurate spot measurements.
Rugged, easy to use, and highly portable, the Accuro Pump is ideal for confined space entry, concentration peak detection, and other challenging applications where quick and dependable measurements are essential.
The Dräger Accuro Pump is designed for spot measurements in a variety of applications, including detecting concentration peaks, confined space entry procedures, and evaluating worst-case scenarios. Its portable design allows measurements to be taken quickly wherever needed.
The Accuro Pump draws a precise sample volume of 100 ml with each stroke. During operation, the pump bellows are fully compressed and subsequently expand, drawing the gas sample through the connected Dräger Tube.
The suction process is completed when the bellows return to their original position. A pressure-controlled end-of-stroke indicator located in the pump head provides clear visual confirmation that the sampling process has finished correctly.
During sampling, target substances are collected on suitable carrier materials such as activated charcoal or silica gel. The air sample is drawn across these materials at predetermined flow rates and durations.
The accumulated substances are then analysed qualitatively and quantitatively in a laboratory using instrumental techniques such as gas chromatography, providing accurate assessment of airborne contaminants.
Measurements often need to be carried out under difficult conditions, including working on ladders, inside shafts, or while wearing respiratory protective equipment. The Dräger Accuro Pump is specifically designed for convenient one-handed operation, ensuring reliable measurements even in hard-to-reach locations.
