Honeywell FSL100 Light Industrial/Commercial Flame Detectors

Honeywell’s FSL100 range of Light Industrial/Commercial Flame Detectors enables simple coverage of fire hazard areas across many fire hazard applications. Installation, setup, and operation are simple. Wide solid-area coverage and fast speed of response optimise safety. Reliability is ensured with built-in automatic testing and test lamps available to cover all models.

The FSL100 is an optoelectronic flame detector designed for a wide range of light industrial fire detection applications. Three versions are available to cover a wide range of flaming fires: Ultraviolet (UV), Ultraviolet/Infrared (UV/IR), and Triple Infrared (IR3). The detectors address fire protection applications both indoors and outdoors.

The FSL100 detects a wide range of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires, allowing it to be used across many application areas. Optical detection of radiant energy within a solid-angle field of view provides coverage of a large risk area. An optional mounting bracket allows the FSL100 to be installed and aligned to cover the hazard.

Fast response is significantly quicker than many other fire detection technologies, responding to flaming fires within seconds and enabling a more rapid response before the fire can escalate.

The FSL100 can be installed indoors or outdoors and in hazardous areas, typically looking into a Div 1 area from a distance. Relay and current outputs provide simple connectivity, while built-in automatic testing and dedicated test lamps provide continuous internal health monitoring and simple operational and field-of-view testing.
