Honeywell FS24X Multi-Spectrum Triple IR Flame Detector

The Honeywell FS24X is a Multi-Spectrum Triple IR flame detector using patented WideBand IR, WideBand 4.3 micron IR, and Visible detection technology. Sophisticated software algorithms and dual microprocessors ensure high fire detection performance and optimal false alarm rejection.

The FS24X is available with Copper-Free Aluminum or 316 Stainless Steel housing. Kit versions include a HART module.

The detection range is over 60 m (200 feet) at the very high sensitivity setting for detecting a one-square-foot Heptane reference fire. It features a wide vision cone providing greater volumetric coverage than conventional Multi-Spectrum IR detectors, meaning fewer detectors may be required.

Sensitivity can be switched as required: high 150 feet, medium 100 feet, and low 50 feet. This makes the detector suitable for different types of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires. Wideband IR sensors can still detect fire if the signal is blocked by glass, although reaction time will be increased.

An SM4 Stainless Steel Swivel mounting assembly is required with each flame detector.
