The MSA FL5000 MSIR Flame Detector is a next-generation multi-spectrum infrared flame detector designed to provide outstanding fire detection performance with advanced false alarm immunity. Using intelligent Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technology and advanced IR sensors, it accurately distinguishes real flames from unwanted radiation sources.
Equipped with multiple infrared sensors and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technology, the FL5000 delivers fast, reliable flame detection while significantly reducing false alarms.
The FL5000 shares the same footprint as the legacy FL4000H and FlameGard 5 MSIR flame detectors, making upgrades quick and simple without replacing existing wiring or conduit seals.
Designed and manufactured by MSA using high-quality components, the FL5000 is backed by a five-year warranty for dependable long-term operation.
Built-in optical heaters help prevent frost and condensation from affecting detector performance, making the FL5000 suitable for a wide range of industrial environments and climates.
The built-in COPM feature automatically checks the detector's optical path and electronic circuitry every two minutes to ensure reliable operation.
The FL5000 can be safely tested using the explosion-proof TL105 Test Lamp, allowing realistic detector testing without using an actual flame.
The FL5000 is the first flame detector to offer Bluetooth connectivity through the Flame Connect App, allowing quick setup, diagnostics, configuration, and event log downloads directly from a mobile device.
