The Oldham BM25 Gas Detector is a portable area monitor capable of detecting up to five gases simultaneously, including flammable, oxygen, and toxic gases. It is ideal for temporary gas detection applications, perimeter monitoring, and locations where fixed gas detectors cannot be installed.

Pre-calibrated smart sensors can be easily replaced, allowing the BM25 to be configured for a wide range of gas monitoring requirements. Multiple units can be daisy-chained using 25m, 50m, or 100m alarm transfer kits, ensuring that if one detector alarms, all connected units activate simultaneously.

The wireless BM25 uses a 2.4 GHz mesh network, eliminating the need for cabling. Each detector automatically joins the network when powered on, enabling peer-to-peer communication, data relay, and automatic network recovery if a detector is removed or communication is interrupted.

The MX 40 controller provides wireless access to detector readings, alarm resets, and network status monitoring. The system automatically reroutes communication paths if a detector is offline, ensuring reliable operation.
