The General Monitors S5000 Gas Monitor detects oxygen, toxic and combustible gases in extreme environments.

It utilises various gas-sensing technologies and can operate over multiple temperatures. The XCell gas sensors with TruCal technology are a breakthrough and can extend calibration cycles for up to 24 months. They also actively monitor sensor integrity, providing peace of mind.

  • Bluetooth wireless technology allows mobile devices to act as HMI screens and controllers. The X/S Connect App is designed with high-security standards and provides real-time information to your mobile device.
  • Dual sensor capability doubles the sensing power with half of the footprint of a single gas transmitter.
  • SafeSwap enables the safe and quick replacement of XCell sensors without turning off the instrument.
  • Easy retrofit, the same footprint and wiring as the S400 Gas Monitor series.
  • Intuitive user experience with an industry-first touch-button interface or familiar magnetic interface.
  • Identical footprint and wiring to the S4000 series, making retrofits simple using the existing conduit and wiring.
  • Cloud connectivity is available with FieldServer ProtoAir FGFD Gateway.
