The Drager Regard-1 is discontinued, some stock is left, replacement here. An independent single-channel control system for Toxic or O2 or Flammable gas. Accepting a 4 to 20 mA signal from a detector transmitter or paired directly with a Polytron SE Ex measuring head. The gas reading is shown on a large LC display. If a hazard is detected, the built-in buzzer will sound. Three flashing LEDs will also indicate the alarm. If a fault is detected, this is shown on a separate flashing LED, once acknowledged the light would be constant.

Battery pack up allows continued operation during a power outage. Two batteries of 1.2 Ah each can be inserted which would enable use between 30-120 minutes; the Regard can also recharge the batteries.

An optional time-weighted average module can be added, which outputs an alarm, 4-20mA repeat and provides RS232 digital output. As standard, the Regard-1 provides three gas alarm relays, fault relay and inhibit relay. Activation of the inhibit relay is recommended during maintenance work.
