Drager Polytron TX

This product is now obsolete. The equivalent is the Polytron 5100.

Polytron TX was a permanent gas monitor for detecting toxic gases or O2. Zoned area approvals ATEX, UL and CSA.

Two mounting holes were incorporated into the Powder-coated aluminium transmitter housing for installation.

Toxic gases and Oxygen are configured, and the user could choose the ranges below.

• CO 0 to 100 / 300 / 500 ppm
• H2S 0 to 20 / 50 / 100 ppm
• O2 0 to 25 Vol%
• Cl2 0 to 5 ppm *)
• H2 0 to 500 ppm *)
• NH3 0 to 100 / 300 / 500 ppm *)
• NO2 0 to 20 ppm *)
• SO2 0 to 20 ppm *)

Output to preventive devices, a building management system, or a control room is was provided by a 4-20mA signal—fault signal indicated by 2mA or less. Maintenance 3, 4 or 5mA.

• Electrical supply 16 to 30 V DC, 2-wire

For commissioning and calibration, tapping the magnet wand on the face will allow external access to the calibration and menus of the detector.
