The Xgard Bright series offers enhanced features and directly replaces the TXgard Plus.

A flameproof (Ex d) pellistor-based flammable gas detector with a display & 4-20mA output for hydrocarbon, hydrogen & petrol gas and vapour detection.

The Crowcon TXgard Plus is a Flameproof (Ex d), ATEX, IECEx, and UL-certified toxic and oxygen gas detector with an LCD display and non-intrusive calibration. The electrochemical sensor has a stainless steel flameproof housing. A marine-grade alloy junction box contains an amplifier/transmitter to provide a 3-wire 4-20mA output.

The TXgard-Plus detector has a 3-digit LCD with a backlight and LED status indicator to provide a user interface, and calibration is performed using a magnetic wand (supplied). The junction box is available with M20, 1/2″ or 3/4″ NPT cable entries.

Suitable for various applications, including water treatment, oil and gas exploration, chemical plants and steel production.
